The YUANYE AWARDS International Competition was founded in 2010. It is open to universities and enterprises specializing in design fields such as architecture, urban planning, landscape architecture, and environmental art. Each year, over 600 universities and more than 1,000 enterprises from home and abroad participate in the competition.

After years of development, it has accumulated rich practical experience, a high industry reputation, and significant social influence. The YUANYE AWARDS is committed to enhancing the influence of design, discovering and nurturing young talents, amplifying the voice of outstanding works, spotlighting prominent designers, and leveraging global creativity to empower Chinese design.

Over the years, the YUANYE AWARDS team has undertaken commissions from local governments of cities including Beijing, Xiamen, Wuhan, Changsha, Xi'an, Chengdu, Shijiazhuang, Qinhuangdao, and Dingzhou. It has planned and implemented master invitation competitions, design camps, youth contests, international forums, cultural and tourism activities, etc., contributing to the creative building of urban IPs, facilitating urban upgrading, addressing pain points in urban development, and empowering the high-quality development of cities.
